The end of a chapter, and start of a new one.

Hi all. It’s been a while. There’s been many a distractions, and goals to hit.

Argentina won the Qatar Fifa World Cup in the wee hours of Monday morning. As a neutral, it has been a roller coaster of emotions and one hell of a ride. Argentina scored early with a Lionel Messi penalty and a good sequence of play that lead to the second goal by Angel Di Maria. France equalized with 2 goals by Kylian Mbappe and in the end, Argentina won on penalties. This match was a fitting end to what has been a roller-coaster of a tournament. Who would have predicted that Saudi Arabia could beat Argentina?

I had my 2nd round bout with Covid earlier in the World Cup period, from 19th to 25th November, leading to a few in my office asking me about the suspicious timing as the first match of Qatar kicked off on 21st November.

As one football tournament ends, a new one much closer to home is just starting today, with the first game of the AFF Cup kicking off in Jakarta. Not sure if I want to be following the games there. Lets see how things pan out.

I’ve not been updating lately. Been busy, which is good. Hope I could document it as I go on, but sometimes things don’t work the way it should, and we need to adjust accordingly.

Take care, and have a good year end break.
